Connect Gmail

Open Integrations from the app sidebar, connect with Google OAuth, and grant read-only Gmail access. Jooobb stores encrypted tokens — your password never touches our servers.

Sync application statuses

Each sync reads new inbox messages, matches them to open Applications on the active profile, and updates statuses when confidence is high.

  • Uses job title, company name, and email content to find the right posting
  • High-confidence matches apply immediately; medium-confidence matches go to review
  • Skips messages already processed so repeat syncs stay fast

Review suggestions

When the match is plausible but not certain, Jooobb surfaces a review queue on the Gmail tab. Approve to apply the suggested status or dismiss to ignore.

  • See subject, sender, snippet, and which application would change
  • Approved updates write to the application timeline like manual status changes
  • Timeline entries from Gmail sync show Gmail-specific labels and icons
  • Pending count appears on the integration panel after each sync

Synced email history

The Synced emails tab lists every message processed during sync — with links to matched applications and CRM records.

  • Each row shows subject, sender, sync time, and outcome (updated, needs review, no match)
  • Messages link to Contacts when the sender email matches someone in your CRM
  • Messages link to Companies via the matched application or contact's employer

Send follow-ups

Add a Google app password to send email through Gmail SMTP from Jooobb — for example follow-ups from an Applications detail page.

  • App passwords are stored encrypted, separate from OAuth read access
  • Remove the app password anytime to disable sending
  • Sending requires both Gmail connected and SMTP configured
